4 years ago, this night was a sleepless one. Nicole and I were incredibly excited for Jaxson to be born, while completely overwhelmed at the responsibility that awaited us. It took the whole night and part of the morning for Jax to be born (he still never gets in a hurry!) and worth every second. For that boy, we would gladly do it again - 1000 times. He makes me a better person. He makes us a better family. Jaxson, we celebrate you. Happy Birthday!
Nicole and I planned what has to be the perfect day for a 4 year old boy. It included opening presents, Chuck E Cheese's, cupcakes, Pasta Pronto, a trip to the mall, and a couple of new iPad apps.
This poinsettia I was given for my office at the beginning of December is really pretty - though I am starting to wonder how long am I suppose to keep it?
Of course it's the Angry Birds board game. He's really good too!
It is cold & rainy on my day off, so Jax and I decided to go out for lunch at Chick-fil-a. Needless to say, we had a great time.
Had a fun time in worship this morning. Several of the kids helped me introduce the Souper Bowl of Caring food drive to the congregation.
We are donating everything to North Raleigh Ministries food pantry and Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen. Very excited to see how much food we collect over the next 4 Sundays.
